At Delta Dental, we believe in the power of a smile and that everyone deserves a healthy one. That’s why Delta Dental of South Dakota is committed to promoting and advancing oral health across the state. We provide dental benefits to employers and individuals to help protect and maintain healthy smiles, all while staying true to our nonprofit mission of caring for the people and communities we serve. In 2025, our investments in oral health programs—designed to improve both oral and overall health—reached nearly 173,000 South Dakotans.

Our passion to help kids, especially those who can't afford or access dental care, is why our Mobile Program serves more than 3,000 kids across South Dakota every year.
In school classrooms, at community events, and cross-training sessions for medical staff, our Oral Health Educators teach dental hygiene and oral health to thousands of South Dakotans of all ages.
Access to dental care depends on oral health professionals to provide care. That's why we provide grant support to higher education programs for dental hygienists and dental assistants and offer a loan repayment program for dentists.
