Job overview

This position provides support to the Group Administration department.

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assists in providing day-to-day support to our groups and members
  • Maintains on-going correspondence with our groups (printing/mailing ID cards, group plan handbooks, etc.)
  • Enters new member enrollments and qualifying event changes into the system
  • Assists with researching problem claims as needed
  • Answers eligibility calls and corresponds with groups/members/dental offices
  • Performs duties/tasks as assigned by the supervisor to best meet the needs of the department

 

Experience and qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education is required
  • Prior experience or training in the insurance industry is helpful
  • Must have basic knowledge of computers (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must have the ability to work well with other people
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
