Meet the keynote speaker 

Anirban Basu is chairman & CEO of Sage Policy Group, an economic and policy consulting firm based in Baltimore,  Maryland, and also teaches global strategy at Johns Hopkins University.

Basu has been called an economist with a personality, or alternatively, one with a sense of humor. In recent years, he has focused on health economics, the economics of education, and economic development.

Meet the HR panel 

Cindy Krekelberg, Human Resources Manager, Harvard Integrations, SHRM – SCP

Cindy is a human resources professional with over 30 years of experience.  Her favorite role in HR is that of a generalist because you get to wear all the hats.  She is also a John Maxwell certified speaker, coach, and trainer. 

Colleen Stratton, AVP Total Rewards, First PREMIER Bank and Bankcard.

Colleen is a Human Resource Executive with over 30 years of experience. In her current role she is responsible for the strategic planning, compensation, benefits, wellness and HRIS for the corporation. Colleen held several HR leaderships positions in manufacturing and banking.  Prior to joining the HR profession, Colleen was an educator, counselor and coach. 

Nancy Walker, Deputy Director, Southwest Health & Human Services, SHRM-SCP.

Nancy is responsible for all Human Resources operations of a governmental agency from “Hire to Retire”.  In addition, she leads the employee insurance committee and is the chief negotiator with their labor union.  Nancy holds a master’s degree in Business Management from Southwest Minnesota State University. 

Meet the entertainer 

Lynnette Marrero is an award-winning New York City-based bartender, mixologist and philanthropist. She's widely regarded as one of the pioneering bartenders in the industry and was listed in Drinks International Bar World 100 most influential figures in 2019.

Marrero is a Columbia University graduate and former musical theater actress who provides an entertaining and engaging presentation on creating signature cocktails and cocktail programs for high-end restaurants.

There is a special rate available for the Fairfield Airport Sioux Falls located just a quarter-mile from Great Shots (and we'll have a shuttle available for you) at 4035 Bobhalla Drive, Sioux Falls, SD 57107. Great Shots is a state-of-the-art year-round golf facility that offers three levels and 60 climate-controlled bays to hit balls into a driving range to practice your skills or play a variety of fun games.

DDU presentations will be in private meeting rooms with separately catered meals with full bar service. You are welcome to bring your own clubs or use those available at Great Shots.
