Responsibilities
- Setup, configure and install workstations
- Assist with maintaining and administering the Windows Active Directory configuration
- Provide training & support to users on various software applications; includes diagnosing and solving problems on workstations and associated devices
- Install, configure and maintain network equipment; includes servers, switches, routers, cabling, scanners, and network printers
- Assist with basic phone system administration
- Act as primary point of contact for the IT helpdesk
- Install and maintain various systems software and hardware
- Assist with maintaining an accountable backup and recovery system
- Assist with timely patching of servers, workstations, and other equipment as needed
- Configure and maintain user email accounts and directories
Experience and qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems Technology or a computer related field is required
- 1-2 years of prior experience with network administration is preferred but not required
- Preferred knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Windows Server, Office 365 products, VMWare, SANs and other general software programs
